Nose
Clean, clear, oily, well-structured and sweet, reminiscent of a wet, seaweed-strewn beach, with sweet fruit, citrus, crisp sea breeze, salty tang, toffee/caramel apples, orchard fruit, vanilla, and peppered spice.
Palate
Medium-bodied, smooth-textured, sharply fruity, sweeter than expected, with buttery pastry, creamy vanilla custard, dried spices, seaweed, oak, malt, apricots, peaches, gooseberries, pineapple, lychee wine, and a hint of woodsmoke, licorice, and a walnut-like bitterness.
Finish
Long, elegant, drying, with late smoke, soft fruit, a slightly oily background, full-bodied, creamy, sweet, with oak, toffee apples, and walnuts.
