Description

A small single malt distillery situated at the heart of the high street in the town after which it is named. Originally founded in 1794, it is today part of the Diageo portfolio and its single malt was one of the original Classic Malts of Scotland brands in 1988. This 13-year-old whisky from sherry casks was bottled at a natural strength of 62% ABV and is part of The Manager's Dram series, which was initially available only to employees of the S.M.D. Staff Association, a part of what is now Diageo. These whiskies were specially selected by distillery managers and are presented at natural cask strength, reflecting the characteristics of its limited production.
