The Observatory 20 Year Old Signature Series is a single grain Scotch whisky, distilled and bottled in Scotland. This exceptionally smooth and well-aged whisky spent two decades maturing in bourbon casks. Elegant waves of vanilla custard, butterscotch, and ripe orchard fruits, with hints of coconut, cinnamon, and delicate oak spice. Also notes of white chocolate, summer berries, lemon cheesecake, and sweet cereals.
Palate
Smooth and sophisticated with layers of caramel, toffee apple, vanilla pod, and gentle spices, underpinned by subtle nutmeg and a touch of citrus zest. Also pink marshmallow, dark chocolate, creamy vanilla, buttered toast, grapes, nectarines, and biscuits.
Finish
Long and warming with lingering notes of honey, toasted oak, and dried fruits that gradually fade, leaving a pleasant, slightly sweet afterglow. Also medium long with notes of cereal, vanilla, cappuccino, brown sugar, a touch of spice and oak, and dusty cocoa.
