Palate
Complexity unfolds with layers of peat smoke balanced by sweet maltiness and a subtle elegance. Honeyed smoky sweetness, vanilla, toasted rye bread, dry nuttiness, poached pear fruitiness with nutmeg and curry leaf spice. Sweet peat, oak, smoked bacon, salty peanuts, pickled pear, charred bread.
Finish
Long and persistent, leaving a warming spice with reminders of its peaty heart. Salty seaweed, streaky bacon and vanilla with lingering oaky nutmeg spice. Lingering sweet peat, charred bread, drying oak, charcoal and tar poles.
