Description

This Octomore 13.4 is a 5-year-old, super-heavily peated Islay single malt whisky from Bruichladdich Distillery, bottled in 2022 at 61.6% ABV. It was initially matured for six months in first-fill ex-American whiskey casks before being transferred into 300-litre American virgin oak casks with a high toast level. This limited and distillery-exclusive release, part of the Octomore 13 series, is known for its intense peat smoke balanced with notes of toasted oak, vanilla, toffee, and spice, and is non-chill filtered and natural in color.
