Octomore 2004 Futures - The Beast 6 Year Old, Bourbon Cask, Batch No. 2, 2011, 60.5%

A rare and heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky from Bruichladdich's Octomore range, known as 'The Beast'. Distilled in November 2004 and matured for six years in bourbon casks, it was bottled in April 2011 at 60.5% ABV. This distillery-only release had a limited outturn of 9,600 bottles and boasts an impressive 167ppm peat content, using Optic barley.
