- Nose
- Earthy and aromatic notes of coffee and cocoa nibs, with solid peat, pepper, vanilla, cinnamon, and dry aniseed. Also, fruit notes including dried fruit, fresh fruit, orchard fruits, citrus, and raisins. Intense red fruits, cherries, blood-orange and raspberries, with sherry and vanilla sweetness, and subtle peat.
- Palate
- Intensely fruity with notes of apples, pears, grapes, banana, pineapple, and mango, followed by a deep wave of peat. Tart oak notes, sour fruitiness, smoke and earthy peat, cured meat, BBQ sauce, bitter oak spices, and sweet red wine.
- Finish
- Medium long finish with melted fruit sherbet and lingering peat. Acid, fruit, bitterness complemented by sweet notes. Gentle and settled, with dried red berries, red wine, sharper peat smoke, and oak spices.
