Description

This unique bottling of Oishii Wisukii, which in English simply means "Delicious Whisky", has been bottled at 43 years of age for The Highlander Inn, Craigellachie. It includes a high malt content from Edrington stock, specifically Macallan, Glenrothes & Highland Park. The eye-catching label was designed by Japanese designer and artist Takeshi Abe, known for his work on Ichiro's Malt 'Card Series'.

Deep and complex, with aromas of dried fruit, leather, aged oak, chocolate, fern, moss, blackberries, sour cherries, and a hint of floral honey.
Palate
Velvety texture with dark chocolate, toffee, candied orange peel, subtle spices, dried figs, dates, dandy cake, a sweet and dry sherry character, hints of raisin, wild rose, menthol, and a hint of smoke.
Finish
Exceptionally long and elegant, with rich sherry notes, gentle oak, a lingering sweetness, and pleasant bitterness.
