Description
The first American whiskey brand to be sold by the bottle when it was launched in 1870 by what is now the Brown-Foreman Corporation. It remains the company's flagship Kentucky bourbon brand today and is produced at their distillery in Shively. This particular 'Barrel Reserve' bottling is a 12-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky, distilled in 1984 and bottled in 1996. It was specially marketed in honor of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and was primarily available through travel retail.
