Description

Old Louisville Whiskey Co.'s 7 Year Double Oaked Bourbon is a barrel-strength, limited-release Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. It is aged for seven years in new charred American oak barrels and then finished for an additional 15 months in heavily toasted and charred American oak, intensifying its oak influence and adding layers of deep sweetness and char. This small-batch, non-chill filtered bourbon offers a rich and complex character.

Nose
Explosive aromas of toasted marshmallow, dark brown sugar, cinnamon bark, and chocolate-dipped pecans, with vanilla bean and sweet pipe tobacco.
Palate
Robust and oily with a punch of oak spice, waves of maple syrup, burnt caramel, peanut brittle, charred oak, and spiced fig. Creamy yet intense, with a satisfying balance of sweet and smoky flavors.
Finish
Long and warming with a peppery heat that tapers into a lingering note of dark cocoa, black cherry, toasted oak, and baking spices.
