Description

The Pulteney distillery was founded in 1826 by James Henderson in the historic Caithness fishing port of Wick and has changed hands many times over the years. It is currently the second best seller in the Inver House stable. In 1930 production ceased at Pulteney, due to the introduction of prohibition in Wick in an attempt to curb drunkenness.
