This Old Pulteney from 2006 is a true gem from the Highlands, distilled and matured by the sea, where salty Arctic air envelops the casks. This Single Cask bottling from Bourbon Cask #2101 is very special – only 204 bottles were filled from this hand-selected American ex-Bourbon barrel, exclusively for the German market. Distillery Manager Malcolm Waring personally selected this exceptional cask, which matured for 18 years in the salty sea air of Caithness. Bottled at 51% vol. at cask strength and without chill filtration, this whisky offers a pure form, as nature created it. The elegant dark blue packaging with the traditional ship emblem underlines the maritime origin of this special bottling.
