This is a 10-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from an undisclosed distillery on the Orkney Islands, independently bottled by Claxton's. Fresh with floral scents, gentle smoke, freshly peeled apples, citrus notes, tropical fruits, subtle chocolate, coastal aromas of damp stones, wooden pillars, and salty air.
Palate
A strong kick of pepper, cinnamon, and oak, followed by fleshy fruits, crumbled caramel, a hint of smoke, a vegetal character, and ginger sharpness. Vanilla sweetness, chocolate, and soft coconut notes also appear.
Finish
Lingering spices with chili heat, tealeaves, salt, and avocado, with a thin layer of cold ash remaining.
