Description

Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 15 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey is a highly sought-after Kentucky Straight Bourbon. It is crafted from the exclusive Van Winkle family wheated recipe, using corn, wheat, and malted barley, and aged for 15 years in new charred oak barrels. This expression is known for its depth and maturity, balancing power and elegance. It is distilled and bottled by the Sazerac Company at its Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. The brand was introduced in 1994 by Julian Van Winkle III, named after his grandfather, Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle Sr., who believed in making fine bourbon 'at a profit if we can, at a loss if we must, but always a fine bourbon'.
