Description

Paul John Oloroso is a limited edition of the Paul John Indian Single Malt Whisky. This expression, drawn from unpeated Indian barley, presents an aromatic tapestry of dried fruit, nuts, and dark chocolate. Matured for 4 years in ex-bourbon casks and then finished for 2 years in Oloroso Sherry casks, this whisky offers a rich and complex flavour profile. The long maturation in Oloroso Sherry casks lends the whisky a deep mahogany hue and a luscious, sweet, and spicy finish, with a touch of tropical fruits.

Rich vanilla and dried orange, with Christmas cake and raisin. Nutty (walnut), balsa wood, toast, sweet dry fruits, warm cinnamon, mince pie, dates, fresh figs, orange citrus, honey/maple syrup.

Dark chocolate, pineapple, old oak, nutmeg, cinnamon. Full force, spicy, cherries, rich, full-bodied, rounded, black pepper, cinnamon bark.
Finish
Clove, cinnamon and raisin notes. Long, strong, sweet, sumptuous, hint of licorice.
