Smoky, sweet, and earthy fragrances with mellow resonances of spice, light peat smoke, roasted walnuts, salted caramel, pears, fresh banana, savory spice, honey, malt, toasted pastries, and a light floral note. Tropical fruits, vanilla, and subtle oak are also present.
Palate
Crisp Muscovado and Demerara sugars create layered nuances, with the smokiness setting in for a perfect balance. Hints of spice from hickory and Dominican-style cocoa, well-balanced with campfire smoke, warm herbs, and papaya. Sweet and spicy notes with honey, dried fruits, and gentle spiciness.
Finish
Delicate notes of Dominican cocoa laced with a tart edge of marmalade. Long with orchard fruit, banana, smoke, vanilla candy, and dried orange. Lingering warmth and a hint of oak.
