Description

A Welsh Blended Malt Whisky, the 11th release in Penderyn's 'Icons of Wales' series, celebrating the Welsh emigration to Patagonia in 1865. This bottling is Penderyn's first blended malt, created by marrying their single malt with whisky from La Alazana Distillery in Patagonia. It was bottled in 2023 at 43% ABV and is non-chill filtered.

Sweet, floral and perfumed. Orchard fruits – green apples and sweet pears – vanilla, a light aroma of honey and caramel.
Palate
Nicely balanced. Sweet honey, apple tart and juicy pears with vanilla and light oaky notes. A mix of spices: cinnamon, peppers and a hint of cloves, together with almonds and creamy toffee.
Finish
Dried fruits lingering with sweet spice at the end.
