Description

Penderyn Icons of Wales No.2/50 - Independence is a single malt Welsh whisky, the second release in the 'Icons of Wales' series. It commemorates the signing of the American Declaration of Independence in 1776, highlighting the Welsh roots of some signatories, and also the passing of the Government of Wales Act in 2006. Produced at the Penderyn Distillery, this non-age statement whisky is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in Madeira wine casks. It was bottled in 2013 at 41% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
