They select a choice of whiskies to bottle under their own label with their only criteria for selection being quality and their own personal tastes. Nose
Winey with juicy plums, blackberries, and grapes. Smokiness is subdued and refined, with notes of oak-aged mezcal, faint citrus, blackcurrant bud, blood orange, rubber, and menthol. With water, smoked brioche and pastis emerge.
Palate
A mix of wine and mezcal, with a drying mouthfeel. Smoky, dark sooty notes, hints of red berries, and spices. Features a Bruichladdich-style dual profile with a hint of cherry gin. With water, it becomes round and silky with red fruits.
Finish
Rather short, with notes of chili, peat, and wine. Long, with an interplay between peat and red fruits.
