Description

Port Charlotte An Turas Mor is a heavily peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky from Bruichladdich, bottled at 46% ABV. Released around 2010, it is a multi-vintage expression, blending casks from multiple distillation years, rather than a single vintage. This approach was taken when the distillery did not have sufficient stocks of a single vintage to bottle. It is peated to 40 parts per million (ppm) and matured primarily in American oak casks. The whisky is non-chill filtered and coloring free.
