Nose
Gristy malt with dark wafts of cocoa and redcurrants. Herbaceous notes of salty seaweed are balanced by fragrant notes of old leather. Earthy with notes of moss and tobacco. Full-bodied aroma.
Palate
A complex array of sweet dried fruits, earthen peat smoke, and briney salinity mingles, with hints of salt and pepper crisps and oily oak. Sea salt, black olives, almonds, and dried plums. Extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish
Coastal bonfire notes linger, with tarry smoke and earthen baking spice. Very smooth and long.
