Description
This Port Dundas 20 Year Old 2011 Release is a single grain Scotch whisky, part of Diageo's esteemed Special Releases series. Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2011, it was one of the last official bottlings from the now-closed Port Dundas distillery, which ceased operations in 2010/2011. The whisky underwent a complex maturation process, initially spending three years in refill casks before being further aged for 17 years in a combination of American oak Bodega casks, new charred European oak casks, and first-fill American oak Bourbon barrels. This limited edition release comprised 1920 bottles.
