- Nose
- Rich notes of raisin, dried orange peel, apricot, plum sauce, pipe tobacco, and a bit of gunpowder. Medicinal smoke, light menthol, damp gravel, balsamic vinegar, and sweet notes like burnt apple pie with cinnamon and raisins. Peat emerges with farmy, mushroomy, earthy, phenolic, and coastal notes.
- Palate
- Coal smoke and leather, meaty tannins, green wood, and sweet peat. Sweet fruit (grapes, apple) and savoury vegetal peat with water. Mild peat, prunes, raisins, savoury/meaty notes, balsamic vinegar, wood tannins, and a minimal herbal touch. Ashy smoke and citrus notes.
- Finish
- Initially fiery, calming to dry smoke and coffee grounds with a hint of sweetness. Long with dry, fruity, and slightly spicy smoke. Earthy, smoky, with sulphur becoming dominant towards the end, and more salt with water.
