Description
A brand of blended and single pot still Irish whiskey produced by Irish Distillers at their Midleton distillery. It was first introduced in 1791 by James Power in Dublin. Powers Gold Label is cut from the heart of the distillate and matured in selected American oak casks, resulting in a complex and honeyed taste with a bold, spicy character. It was the first Irish whiskey ever to be bottled by a distillery in 1886, adopting a gold label to signify its quality.
