Autumn leaves, patisserie aromas, cooked raisins, fruitcake, dark gingerbread, and a faint suggestion of bonfire smoke. Dried citrus, orange zest, red apple, pear, clove, marzipan, sweet aniseed, biscuit caramel, toffee, and warming spice.
Palate
Full-bodied, warm, spicy mouthfeel with savory oak, muscovado sugar, dark gingerbread, rich fruitcake, stewed orange, nutty, and biscuity notes. Silky round with sweet malt, raisins, robust walnuts, delicate dark fruits, and caramelised plums.
Finish
Long, warm, and dry with lingering notes of walnut cake, clove rock, cooked raisins, dry oak spices, a faint sootiness, smoke, and orange spice.
