The Isle of Raasay Dùn Cana Sherry Quarter Cask Second Edition is a limited annual release from the Isle of Raasay Distillery. This single malt Scotch whisky is a blend of peated and unpeated spirit, initially matured in first-fill ex-American rye casks (from Woodford Reserve, Peerless, Wild Turkey) before a second maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks (from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin). It is bottled at 52% ABV, non-chill filtered, and has natural color. This edition was released in September 2024 and is named after Dùn Cana, the highest peak on Raasay. It was awarded Gold Medal, Whisky of the Year 2024, and Single Malt Scotch of the Year 2024 at the London Spirits Competition, and was also named 'The World's Best Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2024' by Forbes.
