Description

For more than 150 years, Rebel Bourbon has remained true to its rebellious roots. That's probably why it feels right at home at Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky. Since 2018, the distillery has been making a name for itself in Bourbon Country by honoring tradition but doing whiskey differently. It's not every day you visit a distillery with more than 18,000 square feet, six barrel warehous. This is a 10-year-old single barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, known for its wheated mashbill and unique flavor profile from each barrel.

Nose
Pleasant aroma of fruit with apples, cherries, and lime zest, along with classic bourbon notes of caramel, cinnamon, and cornbread. Some underlying floral character. Sweet and buttery popcorn, caramel sauce, a little apple and lemon.
Palate
Hints of caramel and citrus, morphing into velvety oak and unabashed spice. Complex with cherry, orange zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, dark brown sugar, and dark chocolate. Sweet at first, then robust and oak-focused. Silky soft texture with vanilla, toffee apples, baking spices, and warm cinnamon.
Finish
Lasting vanilla and black pepper spiciness. Rich charred oak with dryness and faint bitterness. Wheat grain lingers. Mellow oak flavors.
