Description

The 27-year-old is the oldest member of the Redbreast line-up. It's triple-distilled, and matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and ruby port casks. This imparts mango, blood orange and wood spice into the nose, with cherry menthol and vanilla following in the palate.

Nose
A mix of exotic and tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, orange, and berries, complemented by fresh herbs, wood spices, vanilla, toffee, toasted oak, and notes of cherry cheesecake, clove, and honey.
Palate
Incredibly rich and full-bodied with ripe red and dark fruits such as black cherries, cranberry, prunes, nectarines, and plums. Notes of soft vanilla, toasted oak, sherry nuttiness, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of chilli oil, with tropical elements like guava and caramelised banana.
Finish
Long and lingering, with a balance of ripe fruit and wood spices, antique wood, aromatic nutmeg, and a subtle hint of wasabi heat, leading to a refined, contemplative aftertaste with echoes of port wine and pot still warmth.
