Nose
Immediate notes of warm oak, cherry jam, cinnamon, and a hint of mint. Also, rich vanilla, caramel, chocolate, pipe tobacco, spiced honey, and candied citrus.
Palate
Rich mouthfeel with loads of tannins, cigar box, wood varnish, and sweetness. Flavors of oxidized cherries, Tootsie Roll, baking spices (cinnamon, allspice, anise, clove), candied citrus, sweet corn, honeyed fruits, dark chocolate, and leather.
Finish
Long with oak, vanilla, cherry, good spice, and tannins. Also, sweet char, lingering oak tannin, and a kiss of rye spice. Cherry cordial and mint build to a high point.
