Description

Rowan's Creek is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon produced by Willett Distillery. It is hand-bottled at 50.05% ABV and aged in new, charred oak barrels. Named after the creek that runs through the distillery, it is known for its sweet caramel and vanilla backbone, subtle floral and grassy notes, and warming spice finish.

Grassy and rye-forward with caramel, honey, mint, hay, underdeveloped oak, cinnamon, black licorice, fennel seed, Jasmine Tea, coffee grounds. Also notes of vanilla, fruit (apples, pears), leather, tobacco, baking spices, orange, and allspice.
Palate
Sweet flavors of honey, Ricola Cough Drops, raw spice (cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorns), ginger tea, mint, pine needles, orange peel. Also caramel, baking spices, citrus, crème caramel, vanilla fudge, and toasty oak.
Finish
Youthful flavors with cinnamon, honey, vanilla, peppermint candy cane, and oak. Long, spicy (allspice, nutmeg), dry oak wood, cereal, mint, peppermint, poppyseeds, dried peaches, and a suggestion of citrus.
