Nose
Gentle, warming and drying Oloroso with a slight tropical slant. Dusty old books that someone has spilled golden syrup upon.
Palate
Much more balanced than the nose may suggest. Creamy and cool to start with a big hit of burnt butter and white chocolate.
Finish
Warmer, dryer than expected with a delightful heat that sits on the tip of the tongue and doesn't want to leave. Liquorice root, gentian and bitter chocolate linger giving you something to chew on long after the dram is done.
