Description

A Highland malt distillery founded in 1845 by John Begg. It neighbours the Balmoral Estate and a visit by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1848 saw it bestowed with a Royal Warrant. It is today part of the Diageo portfolio and its single malt has been marketed since the 1970s. The oldest independent bottling company in Scotland and one of the earliest and foremost advocates for the single malt.
