Description

A Highland malt distillery founded in 1845 by John Begg. It neighbours the Balmoral Estate and a visit by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1848 saw it bestowed with a Royal Warrant. It is today part of the Diageo portfolio. This specific bottling is a 45 Year Old single malt, distilled on 7 November 1978 and bottled on 14 November 2023, in celebration of the 75th birthday of His Majesty King Charles III. It was matured in a single cask and bottled at natural cask strength.
