This limited edition expression, aged for a minimum of 21 years, celebrates creativity and freedom of expression, drawing inspiration from Harris Reed's perception of modern royalty and his signature feather headpieces. The blend was crafted in a co-blending session at the Strathisla Distillery with Master Blender Sandy Hyslop, featuring Sherry matured Braeval and American Oak matured Glenburgie, resulting in a rich, sweet, and spicy whisky with vibrant and complex notes.

The fruit gives this blend a clear point of appeal: fresh red apple and raspberry jam on the nose lead into pear crumble, with raisin and gooseberry jam adding a deeper, sharper edge on the palate. Cinnamon, ginger and clove bring warmth, while toasted oak and almonds keep the sweeter notes from taking over. The finish is described as rich, complex and spicy; I’d prefer a little more detail about how long those fruit notes persist, but the range is inviting.
