Sam Clay Sour Mash Bourbon is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey produced by Sam Clay Distilling Co. in Bardstown, Kentucky. It is described as 'Genuine Sam Clay' and 'Very Rare', made with 'Old Fashioned Distillation' and 'Time Mellowed in Charred Oak Casks'. Some versions are also noted as charcoal-filtered. Historically, Sam Clay Bourbon was re-introduced into production around 1910 and some releases were produced for family and medicinal use by Julius Kessler & Company.
