Nose
Rich, sweet, and complex with orange blossom honey, deep cinnamon, butterscotch, warm soft rye bread, pickling-spice earthiness, vanilla crème brûlée, old worn leather, cold tea, pine, mint, toffee, dried tangerine peel, brown sugar, maple syrup, cherry soda, Dr. Pepper, waxy wood resin, citrus rind, oak, and plum.
Palate
Less sweet than the nose, with burnt toffee, toasted rye bread, orange pith, woody spice, herbaceous and mint-like notes, cinnamon stick, white peppercorns, rough clove, tannic and leathery charred oak, caramel, non-tannic wood, black pepper, and walnut.
Finish
Wonderfully warm with charred oak, rye spice, white pepper, medium length, gently diminishing, and notes of cedar and anise.
