This Scallywag 13 Year Old Signature Series is a limited edition blended malt Scotch whisky from independent bottler Douglas Laing, part of their "Remarkable Regional Malts" range. It is crafted from a marriage of aged Speyside single malts, including those from distilleries like Mortlach, Macallan, and Glenrothes. Matured predominantly, and in some cases exclusively, for 13 years in Spanish Sherry Oak Casks or Sherry butts from Jerez, it is bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured. This expression is known for its rich, sherried profile with notes of dark fruits, chocolate, and spice.
