Nose
Medium-body with cut flowers and herbs, hints of pollen and notes of dried woods, a little marmalade and winter spice. A very gentle smoke lurks somewhere with notes of vanilla and buttery toffee.
Palate
Quite rich and dry. The oak is quite evident, but combines with various other aromatic woods, a touch of resin develops with plenty of pepper and a marked aridity. There are notes of dried fruits and a barley sweetness.
Finish
Long and well oaked.
