Description

This small batch blended malt, 'Tabanco Time', was drawn from the latest refresh of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society's blended malt solera. It includes whiskies from both Speyside and Highland regions, matured in a mixture of quarter casks, hogsheads, and butts, all seasoned with Pedro Ximénez (PX) or Oloroso sherries, as well as Spanish and American oak. The aromas and flavors are inspired by trips to Jerez, evoking the experience of being seated outside a tabanco with toasted nuts and thinly sliced Serrano ham.
