Description

Berry Bros & Rudd are the oldest wine and spirit merchant in Britain, operating from the same premises in London's St James Street since their founding in 1698. Nose
This rich Speysider gives masterclass in sherry wood maturation, barging out of the glass with dried fruits and wood spice, mace, tea leaves and old wax polish.
Palate
The palate has lashings of sticky oloroso sherry showing dried figs and demerara sugar and is wonderfully clean, a little water brings out sweet honeycomb and touches of lighter fresh green fruit.
Finish
The finish is pleasingly mellow and warming with a softer side of dates and raisins lingering on the palate.
