Description

Sennachie 40 Years Old Blended Malt is a unique blended malt produced by the Stuart Whisky Co. Ltd. The blend consists of five Highland and Speyside malts distilled in 1975. They were married together in 1983 and matured in a hogshead at the Springbank distillery, before being bottled in 2016 at a cask strength of 42.9%. Just 185 bottles were drawn from cask #83/254-2. Palate
Silky delivery with heather honey and dried figs, warmth of cinnamon and all-spice, an oily, earthy bass note, salted caramel chocolate and stewed plums in syrup. Smooth and velvety, with a rich mouthfeel.
