Description

Inspired by a visit to the Kilchoman Distillery in 2012, Taiko Nakamura started thinking about setting up a distillery of his own back home. Eventually he did and Shizuoka distillery was opened in February of 2017. The Distillery has purchased part of the equipment from the legendary Karuizawa at auction. Banana, vanilla, varnished furniture, fruit candies, apricot jam, amaretto liqueur, freshly planed wood, cedarwood.
Palate
Concentrated taste of vanilla, burnt granulated sugar, banana mousse, vanilla pudding cream, and green mint.
Finish
Dry and woody, with roasted but sweet smoke and dry oak, reminiscent of a log cabin. Coconut, vanilla caramel, banana, and fresh cream with water added.
