Description

Inspired by a visit to the Kilchoman Distillery in 2012, Taiko Nakamura started thinking about setting up a distillery of his own back home. Eventually he did and Shizuoka distillery was opened in February of 2017. The Distillery has purchased part of the equipment from the legendary Karuizawa at auction. This is a 5-year-old Single Malt Japanese Whisky, distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2025, from a private Bourbon cask (#880) for The Ultimate Spirits. It is uncolored and non-chill filtered.

Finish
Earl Grey black tea, mint, coffee beans, bitter almonds, fruit pepper, fresh ginger, and fresh woody spices linger pleasantly.
