Description

A Japanese single malt whisky distillery established in 2016 and the brainchild of Gaiaflow Co founder, Taiko Nakamura. It is a notable producer in that in addition to its two Scottish-made pot stills, it also operates one of the stills from the legendary Karuizawa distillery. Distillery Bottling is a term used to define a whisky bottled by the company that produced it, using the official branding. The Shizuoka United S is a blend of distillates from the distillery's two distinct stills: the wood-fired Pot Still W and the ex-Karuizawa Pot Still K, aiming to harmonize their contrasting characteristics. It is bottled without an age statement, with no added color and no chill filtration.
