Nutty and aromatic with hints of walnut, apple peel, custard, almond, and barley malt. It also presents notes of toffee apples, honeycomb, linseed oil, scented tea, ripe autumn fruits, red berry sharpness, malt, cereal, and golden syrup sweetness.
Palate
Thick and spicy with ground almonds, oak, and apple peel. It is sweet to start, then drying, warming, light, and smooth, with malty and oaty base notes, fresh fruit salad, spicy and floral top notes, creamy toffee, burnt caramel, and a zingy pepperiness.
Finish
Nutty and long with pralines and apple. It is drying, with pears, digestive biscuits, delicately spiced notes of aniseed, lingering caramel, and spices.
