Powerful, peaty smoke with notes of burnt rubber, tar, citrus (lemon, ginger), honeyed raisin scone, dried peaches, medical tinctures, cedar, mesquite-like smokiness, lapsang souchong tea, coal tar, creosote, and sea spray.
Palate
An explosion of peppery, peaty heat, soothed by honeyed sweetness. Creamy with saline, vanilla, zingy white pepper, sherry, iodine, toffee, sea salt, dried fruits, caramel apples, cinnamon, oak wood, and dark chocolate.
Finish
Long, lingering smoky and peppery heat, smoothed by vanilla. Dry with medicinal herbs, earthy smoked wood, leather, prairie grass, citrus tang (mandarin), dull embers, bitter orange, salt, and pine needles.
