Description
Founded in 1992 by Brian Cook, the Vintage Malt Whisky Company set out with the aim to produce a range of malt whiskies from the country's finest distilleries and to present them to independent importers worldwide. The company is perhaps best known for its Cooper's Choice range of single cask bottlings paying homage to the craftsmen who made the perfect casks by exploring cask finishes. This Speyburn 'Speyside Preserve' was distilled at the Speyburn distillery, initially matured in American oak, then given a second maturation in a Ruby Port cask. Bottled in 2022, this is a single cask release from cask 8872 with an outturn of 420 bottles.
