Description

A collection of independent bottlings from Adelphi Distillery Ltd. Generally reserved for its more premium casks, the label was introduced in 2008 alongside its new flagship Adelphi Selection brand in a refresh of the company's portfolio. A whisky company based in Scotland that owns the Ardnamurchan single malt distillery and an independent bottling operation. The company was established in 1993. Adelphi's Breath of Speyside single malt hails from an undisclosed Speyside distillery and spent 30 years maturing between 1992 and 2023. It was released in a limited edition of 194 bottles.

Full-bodied aroma with cedar, fresh red apples, banana, ripe citrus, herbal notes, gooseberry, honeydew melon, orchid petals, lemon sorbet, wet stone, and coconut-milk chocolate.
Palate
An explosion of flavors, nutty and oaky with strawberry, zesty grapefruit, red berries, pink peppercorns, menthol, almond-cake sweetness, Cointreau-like citrus, ripe peach, cantaloupe, dry spice, strawberry-Twizzlers sweetness, and anise.
Finish
Perfect, long lasting, warming with gentle oak, white pepper, a touch of citrus, herbal dryness, and a clean, lingering herbal finish.
