Description
Signatory was founded by Andrew Symington in 1999. After discovering single cask single malt whisky while managing Prestonfield House Hotel, Andrew bought his first cask, a Glenlivet 1968, and is now one of the largest independent bottlers in Scotland. As of 2002, Signatory Vintage Whisky company became the owner of the Edradour distillery in Perthshire. This Speyside (M) is a 17-year-old single malt, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2023, matured in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt. The 'M' in Speyside (M) is widely understood to refer to Macallan, though the distillery remains officially undisclosed due to licensing restrictions. It is bottled at cask strength without chill filtration.
