This Speyside 17 Year Old Decanter is a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. It was produced by Speyside Distillery & Bonding Co. Ltd. and independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. Gordon & MacPhail, founded in Elgin in 1895, is a historic blender, independent bottler, and distiller, known for brands like Benromach and independent labels such as Connoisseurs Choice. The Speyside distillery itself, near Drumguish in the Speyside region, was originally founded from an old Barley Mill built in the 1760s, with whisky production starting in 1990.
